Haiti - Politic : Tabling of 2 very important bills

In order to reform the legal framework of the public institutions and to ensure the harmonization of the organic laws of the ministries, the Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant, accompanied by Josué Pierre-Louis the General Coordinator of the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) proceeded Thursday, April 5, in plenary session in Parliament to the tabling and presentation of 2 bills. The first sets the general status of the civil service and the second concerns the organization of the central administration of the State.

With the objectives of establishing a public service of proximity and the establishment of a modern and effective Administration for, inter alia, strengthening the rights and obligations of civil servants and the depoliticization of the Administration.

The draft law establishing the general statute of the Public Service includes 213 articles and that on the organization of the central administration of the State 115.
