Côte-Plage Baptist Church, champion of Télé Génie

The Centre d'Etudes Lumière (CEL) of the Baptist Church of Cote-Plage has just been crowned champion of Télé Génie this year, organized by the National Television of Haiti (TNH) by defeating the College Saint Louis de Gonzague (SLDG) with a score of 410 points for the CEL and 230 for SLDG.

The Art Center, founded in 1944, was recognized as a public utility since 1947 when there were no art galleries or public art schools in Haiti. The Art Center retains an important heritage consisting of the most important works of painting, Haitian sculpture and documents of great historical significance. It gave birth in 1972 to the Museum of Haitian Art College Saint Pierre on the Champ de Mars.
