Haiti - Politic : Evans Paul deplores the anti-democratic statements of Lafontant

Former Prime Minister Evans Paul, Founding Member of the Konvansyon Inite Demokratik (KID) Party and Special Advisor to the Sectoral General States of the Nation, salutes the political wisdom of Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant for responding to patriotic calls from different sectors of the country by agreeing to resign from his post.

However, he deplores the undemocratic remarks made by the outgoing Prime Minister at the Tribune of the Chamber of Deputies.

"[...] e deplore the derogatory remarks of the resigning Prime Minister who has stigmatized sectors of society that he declares not entitled to access positions of political responsibility in the country https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24968-haiti-flash-the-deputy-tardieu-condemns-the-discriminatory-and-racist-statements-of-the-outgoing-pm.html

It is imperative to take advantage of this resignation to draw a new policy of living together that can promote job creation, to guarantee, among other things, food security, public safety, respect for public and private property in order to establish trust and create hope.

Because in reality, Haiti is each of us, who believe we love him with passion, without reaching here to revalorize it by the reason"
