Thursday in New York, at the 73rd Ordinary Session of the UN General Assembly, President Jovenel Moïse for the second time in his mandate, delivered a speech at the UN platform in which he launched among others an "urgent appeal to our partners in the international community for the pursuit of an active solidarity with the Haitian people within the framework of a renewed, coherent, substantial assistance program" evoking in his speech the needs of nearly three billions of dollars for Haiti, speech that we invite you to share :

"Allow me, first of all, to pay tribute, Madam President [Chancellor of Ecuador Maria Fernanda Espinosa], to your election as head of the UN General Assembly [18 Sept. 2018] . The great qualities and talent that we are unanimous in recognizing you are certainly a guarantee of success of the work of this 73rd ordinary session. I would like to welcome the presence of the Secretary-General, as well as his brave action to increase the effectiveness of the United Nations system in the collective search for the "common good of humanity", to use the expression of Pope Francis.
