Gonaïves : 2 bandits arrested

On Saturday, the police of Gonaïves arrested two individuals known under the pseudonym "Tiga" and "Mayco" suspected of belonging to the "Gran Grif" Gang which operates among others in Petite-Rivière de l'Artibonite and who was preparing to flee to the Dominican Republic according to seized documents.

Japan: Development of the Friendship School of Rhodé

"The Development Project of the Joint Institution of Friendship of Rhodé", funded by Japan as part of the APL (Aid in the form of Donations to Local Micro-Projects Contributing to Human Security) is underway. The construction works are already finished, there remains only the school furniture which is in the course of manufacture. The school is already open and teaching takes place in another building until the official handover of the project next spring, 263 students will benefit from this project.
