Restrictions on official travel

Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe recalls that "All travel by government officials must be authorized by the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister".

Through its implementing partners (American Institutes for Research, UNICEF and University of Notre Dame), the American Agency for International Development (USAID - Haiti) supports approximately 34,500 students and 1,020 teachers in 416 schools in 7 departments of Haiti, for a total amount of $35 million.

Towards the reconstruction of the École Normale Supérieure

Monday, Fritz Deshommes, the Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH), accompanied by the leaders of the École Normale Supérieure (ENS), participated in a working session with Claude Joseph, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Japanese Ambassador accredited to Haiti, Mitsuaki Mizuno, around the reconstruction of the ENS.
