Haiti - Politic : Strategic changes withing the PNH

Monday, January 30, 2023, as part of the strategic measures taken by the Commander-in-Chief a.i. of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Frantz Elbé, with the aim of revitalizing actions within the institution, new changes were made.

On the orders of Frantz Elbé, the Inspector General Jean Yionel Trecile proceeded to the installation of the Municipal Commissioner Sergo Dasmy, as the new Head of the Office of the Commissioner of the Toussaint Louverture International Airport. He replaces Chief Commissioner Isaac Mérilien, who held this position for 27 months.

At the same time, the Divisional Commissioner Prophet Joachim, assigned to the Office of the General Directorate of the PNH as responsible for International Cooperation between the Police Forces, was installed as the new Director of the Directorate of General Intelligence. He replaces in this position the Divisional Commissioner Walmann Cétoute who has been assigned to the Central Directorate of Administrative Police (DCPA).

In addition, the Principal Commissioner Aladin Jean Louis who was responsible for the Jurisdiction of Pétion-ville was transferred to the DCPA.
