On Saturday, March 22, 2025, to celebrate the centenary of Haiti's first national football team, our senior Grenadiers faced their Azerbaijani counterparts in a friendly match in Baku (the capital).

On the pitch at the Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium, our Grenadiers won [3-0], a match they largely dominated, a game controlled without compromise.

Frantzdy Pierrot scored twice in the 9th and 63rd minutes, each time on moves initiated by Deedson Louicius, who put in a brilliant performance. Danley Jean Jacques scored the third goal in the 83rd minute, on an assist from Christopher Attys.

Sébastien Migné's Grenadiers celebrated this historic date with a victory, marking a century of existence as a Haitian football team.

It's worth noting that Sébastien Migné's team remains undefeated after 10 competitive matches (9 wins, 1 draw).

The Grenadiers' next match will take place at the end of May, for the final two matches of Group C of Phase 2 of the CONCACAF Champions League qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, before moving on to the final phase of the 2025 Gold Cup.
