After completing his classical studies in 2003 [at school J.M Henriquez and to the College Suisse of Jacmel], Wilky Sanon, born in the town of Grand Gosier, in the city of Felix Maurisso Leroy, Department of Southeast, had received aof a scholarship from the State of Haitito continue his studies in psychology at the University of Havana in Cuba. This young 'Sudessois' had the chance to complete his six-year course in psychology. Back in 2008, in Haiti, Wilky Sanon was among the 7 Haitian scholars on the 36 of his class (in several areas), who decided to return home...

The young psychologist Wilky Sanon explained to HaitiLibre, that despite a signed contract between the Haitian government and scholars, whose objective is to serve the country in return, this does not prevent these students to turn their backs definitively to Haiti. Given this situation, Wilky is very critical vis-à-vis the Haitian state that most frequently does not honor its commitment for the students to be able to transmit their knowledge to the benefit of the country by not creating the necessary conditions to enable these young professionals to contribute in the development of Haiti.

"Being a psychologist, this is not my will, but that of nature or God. Since I have patriotic blood flowing in my veins from my childhood [...] one of my dreams was to help people in difficult situations," said Sanon Wilky who strongly criticized the Haitian authorities, primarily responsible according to him, of the miserable situation of Haiti. Adding that "most of the students have always demonstrated a willingness to return to Haiti after their studies abroad."

Wilky estimated that Haiti is currently confronted to a serious problem of leak of human resources in all areas. However no policy of ntegration of resource has been developed to date by our leaders, allowing executives of the country to return home. It denounces that "The opportunistic politicians feel more comfortable in the people's misery. Moreover, the ideal of youth is often ignored, according to political trends, social and economic of country."

Note that this young psychologist, after six years of study in Clinical Psychology in Cuba is abandoned by the Haitian state, despite the investment that was made by the government for his studies. Since his return to Haiti, Wilky ony honoring contracts with NGOs. He currently coordinates in the department of Southeast, a psychosocial and sociocultural project, funded by "International Psychosocial Organization (IPSO)," a German NGO.

Hopefully this example, stimulates the new Government, so quick to ask loudly the return of the diaspora educated at home, and that it takes promptly all steps and measures necessary, to begin by offering its scholarship students, opportunities for integration into the labor market of Haiti, with a decent wage, to serve their country and contribute to its progress on the path of development.
