For reminder, the outgoing President, Abdoulaye Wade had decided almost 2 years ago to welcome 162 students in Senegal so that they continue their studies in universities throughout the country : 102 at the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (UCAD), 26 at the Regional University Centre (RUC) of Thiès, 2 to the CUR of Ziguinchor, 2 to the CUR of Bambey and 30 at the University Gaston Berger of Saint-Louis.

Led by Lamine Ba, Former-Minister Adviser to the outgoing President, the integration of these 162 students had been at the time the cause of tensions. Some students of UCAD, alleging treatments in favors granted to our countrymen, before things finally return to normal...

For several months, the responsibles of the Centre of Oeuvres Universitaires of Dakar (COUD) asks the 36 Haitian students, housed in the City Sitoe Diatta, to regularize their situation. Indeed since 5 months rents of our countrymen, have not been paid. Recall that this issue was managed by the Office of the President (Abdoulaye Wade), who paid directly the COUD. ut, since the change of government, our fellow students are left to themselves. In response, the COUD has put pressure on the Haitian students up to remove the mattresses of their room, before returning them after negotiations...

The change of government with the election of President Macky Sall is clearly not inconsequential among Haitian students. At COUD one think that the new President of the Republic, Macky Sall, must not do less than the outgoing President Abdoulaye Wade, in this case. However, the confusion seems to reign in government, where Abel Abdou Thiam, the spokesman of President Macky Sall, would have declared all ignore of the difficult situation of our fellow students...
