Haiti - U17 Football : The Grenadières bowed 1-0 against Trinidad & Tobago

Sunday ended at Sylvio Cator stadium, the second round of qualifying for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, Costa Rica 2014, where our young Grenadières conceded the victory 1-0 against the Soca Warriors of Trinidad and Tobago with a goal registered in the first half at the 38th minute of play.

Despite all their attempts to find at least a tying goal, the score remained unchanged for our Grenadières. However, with this second place, our Grenadières qualified for the third and final round of the playoffs, which will be held from October 30 to 9 November 2013 in Jamaica joining: two Central American teams and three of North America, USA, Canada and Mexico. The third place in the second round was won by Puerto Rico.

At the end of the third round, two teams will travel to Costa Rica, the host country of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, to represent CONCACAF in the final phase of the competition, which will run from 15 March to 5 April 2014.

Congratulations to our U17 women's team [32 goal registered against only 3 received during this tournament] we are proud of you and good luck for the final round !
